Some of you would say what kind of title is this. But, to be honest even i don't know what should i name the title of this story, i'm about to tell you. Should i name him a winner or should i name him a warrior. Umm, i think i should just name him "A guy who overcame his fears & did something to prove himself worthy". So, i want to tell you about a friend i have which i know from a very young age. At that time, he was the only friend i had. A little bit shy, with chubby cheeks, happy go lucky child that all are of that age. His life was a like a happy poetry, with all the beautiful metaphors in his life. But, then came somethings that made him low, very low& made him feel like a weaker person from within.
At the age of 9, when kids are running around playing with nothing in his head but only joy, a small stone hit his back of the head, so like a child, who is ever filled with energy didn't even felt pain at that moment, with small amount of blood coming from his head but not caring about that he just runs & runs & play with his friends with the same enthusiasm like before. In, 2 months everyone almost even forgot that such thing had happened, one day when he was playing, he seemed low, he seemed weak & couldn't even run 200 meters & before anyone could have asked what happened, he just just fell down on the road, with his body shivering rigorously with his face turning pale & lips turning blue. His family, takes him to a doctor & what they get to know here, completely changed their lives, the boy was suffering from a neuro problem. His life was never the same, the boy who ran with all his strength was told "not to run", he never played any sport after that, we all saw him just sitting on the benches with a weak face & weak smile on his face. But, his problem didn't end here, his problem got bigger & bigger, he got weak from inside, if he ran for 2 minutes, he would fall down again. After taking this all in, he walked with a smile & that he will live happily as he cannot do anything about it but to face it with a smile & beat the hell out of it. Now, life was going a bit easy he had cope up with all this.
At 15, when he was as happy as ever but problems don't come by asking you. This time what came was horrendous, which completely changed him forever & still i can see this change in him, at the age of 15 he lost his younger sister who was only 10. He was numb, couldn't feel anything, i was there with him & my heart beat was skipping so everyone can think what would be the condition of that elder brother who just lost his younger sister. It still haunts him, time to time, that what if he could have saved her. That was the first time, i saw him crying, with only tears flowing from his eyes with no expressions on his face, he stood there like a body with no life. He wasn't feeling anything, all could think or feel is calling from inside to his sister. You may be thinking why am i writing all this, it would all be clear to you in the end.
Now, life was coming to it's routine, that doesn't mean that it doesn't haunt him, still but now he had thought that his sister wouldn't want him to cry & cry, she would have wanted to move on & he did. He passed his 12th, with good marks & was taking a step forward to get to the thing he always wanted to. His dream was to be an artist, everytime, someone saw him on the stage would say that you should carry it on. At first, he only took them as a compliment, but once a day came, when he was allowed to take participation in a theatre production, well in easy language "Theatre Play" & what he did, floored everyone, to be on the big stage like this for the first time, he looked like he is doing this from a lifetime. Then, he thought to carry it on. And, went for a big thing "NSD" i.e., "National School Of Drama" & luckily he did make it to the institution. But, his parents were not happy from this, all they wanted that he should be settled with a job as they think, that this profession doesn't have "stability" & it is TRUE! But, he took the gamble & continued with it. Had some dramatic fights with his parents & with all the relatives telling the family what is he doing?, Well that is the most awful thing in India, people don't take their lives seriously but they just want to interfere in other's life. He stood them against them too & continued his dream.
Okay, so after all this you would be thinking why am i telling you these problems, everybody has problems, so does he. WHAT'S THE BIG DEAL? The big deal are the things i'm gonna tell next, it's not about the problems. It's all about how he manged to defeat these problems.
When he got his neuro thing, he took this thing with him for 11 years. In this process, he had to take medicines so strong that, if a normal person, take the medicines he took just 1 tablet & he took 3, thrice a day, if anyone takes a tablet once in a day, he would be sleeping for around 60-70 hours continuously. He took sleeping anaesthesia more than 30 times. In all these 11 years, he spent half of his life in a hospital. Now, after 11 years he has overcome this & is now free & can run, play anywhere, anytime. He overcame his sister's death who was a world for him. With all the difficulties he has to bear to get to his dream, he felt that, he saw that & he conquered it.
Some would think why did you write it here? It's just like some stories should be told to people, you don't need to think about the problems he faced, many people would be facing such problems too, but all i want to say that "DON'T STOP", just keep moving on & one day, you will get to a happy ending! People close to me, would understand that about whom i'm talking about!
Now You all say, what should i call a person like this? :)
God Bless You All! Be Strong, Be Awesome! :)
